Look at this beautiful card I received from Betty in France. She actualy wrote the entire card in French (my first one *g*) and I only needed to look up two words! Yeah for me!

So today I learned
accro (adjective) = addicted or noun for addict
accro à qc. = addicted to
accro de qc. = mad/keen on somebody/something
le kawa = the coffee, I only new le café so far

A big MERCI à Betty for letting me use my rusty French. *g*

So I’ve been a little lazy with updates but no more!
Here is a lovely card from a fellow German postcrosser. The saying by Joachim Teege literally translated means:
“Self-mockery is the art to draw one self through the cacao in a way that it’s still tasty afterwards.” To draw some one through the cacao in German means making fun of some one.

Puh, I’ve had some nice days in Berlin and came home to 7 new postcards! Did I already mention that I’m in love with postcrossing? No? Well, I’M IN LOVE WITH POSTCROSSING!

I not only enjoy receiving cards and reading the comments, seeing the stickers or small drawings – I also love sending cards. I find it terrible exciting to choose new cards and if possible to fulfill a preference.

While visiting my godmother and her hubby last year I took several photos and edited a calendar for 2009 for both. They were very thrilled.

Now this year I’ve not visited but would like to make a new calendar anyway. Instead of taking just some photos from town I decided to shoot photos of a garden gnome visiting town. At the end I’m going to send the gnome along with the calendar.

I’m really looking forward to their reaction. I’m sure they’ll enjoy it.
